Just wasted the night fucking around with a computer

It's fair to say that i don't "get" computers... there always seems to be some asshole obvious step that misses me, so instead of playing a good old violent game of hockey i go into a nice silent rage trying to do something that should take, or i have heard takes, a few minutes and is dead simple.

That's why we natural luddites like guitars. What's in your hands is what it is, sink or swim on the dexterity of your fingers and the sense of your rhythm, and of course the strength of your song. I play an e chord and it makes the sound of an e chord... i punch in stmp.telus.net and i get a fucking god damn window explaining that some asshole server is not responding.

where was i... Oh yea this is the Supper Show Blog... I'm here to yap on with some "smiley faced PR" about how good last week was and that a guy called Phoenix Magnolia is coming down tomorrow to stomp some percussive guitar work. what i do know about last week was that it was about 1:30 AM when i ping ponged up the stairs to my house... let's just say we got on a roll.

Canada Day

Of course there was a very sparse crowd at the Railway Club for the Canada Day Supper Show... what with all of the other free events outside on a beautiful day... but that didn't stop Cameron Dillworth, Super Robertson, Gido, Simian Special and Shockk from playing some music to the room. It was good times and i found a pill on the stage and tried to get C.S. Rippin to gulp it back but he wanted no part of that for some reason.

On Wednesday July 8 2009 the Super Robertson Supper show will present Genny Trigo doing some Spanish songs and some of the latest 21 tandem Repeats songs sung by Genny Trigo.

July is on us like a badman

Man, Wednesday morning 1:16 AM and the supper show blog has yet to be updated... This is pure commitment folks. Sure it seems like slackassery from one side of the book, or maybe it doesn't for i have never looked at the book from that angle. Why bother, you should only ever look ahead, but as you do of course, carry with you the wisdom of all of your failed ventures.
Well now that we are all on a positive note, i guess we should get down to business so i can begin to properly analyse some Internet pornography... that's a joke you crude bastard readers of the SRSS blog.

The legion of Flying Monkey's Horn Orchestra put on a fine show... I really wish i had taped a version of the "means of production garden son, "He has come to save us all" and the "three part tune in honour of the 2010 Olympic celebrations". The band was top notch, and Fire-Man stayed off the horn for a while, which is always a welcome event. i mean that more as a compliment to his song writing abilities and less as a slight to his atonal wailing. They put on a good show for sure... I was going to film it and like work the camera but then the needed my guitar (and put it to good use) and i was thinking of going to the colbalt later so i wanted to scale down on my possessions for the night.

On Canada Day, or Cannabis day as it has been come to be known, by some.. have you ever met Captain Cannabis? King hell guy i say. Anyway today is Canada day and as far as i know there is a SR Supper Show, and it's going to be Cameron Dilworth and Super Robertson, and a drummer and perhaps a Congo player... I smell a good time show later today... so little time so much to drink.

OK Happy Cannabis day, i mean Canada day.
